Play your strengths but be sure to work on your deficiencies. If you constantly work on your deficiencies, you’ll eventually be deficient in your deficiencies! This can be applied to all aspects in life.
The most common quandary is the mind and body tug-a-war. If you work at the office and have a sedentary lifestyle, you’re working out your mind but your body is wasting away. Focus on your body after work. Conversely, if your work is physical by nature, your mind is languishing. Stimulate your brain after work.
Today for me was pretty brutal. An 11 hour work day and heavy Mexican food with 2 glasses of beer with a friend for dinner. My body was definitely unhappy so I did a quick 45 minute gym session and I felt 20 times better.
